Mukesh, Vinay Sharma, Akshay Singh, and Pawan Gupta are the four death row convicts.

Today, in the 2012 Delhi gangrape and murder case, the court had reserved an order to issue death warrants against four convicts. Additional Sessions Judge Satish Kumar Arora said the order will be released later today.
Although asking the court to issue the death warrants, the prosecution said, "The convicts want to file curative petitions between issuing and executing death warrants, they can do so." Two of the convicts ' counsel— Mukesh and Vinay — said they were filing a curative petition in the apex court.

"I am pleased with the court's ruling. The convicts will be hanged on January 22 at 7 a.m. This ruling will instill fear in those who commit such crimes," said Badrinath Singh, father of the 2012 Delhi gang-rape victim.

Nirbhaya's mother Asha Devi was satisfied with the judgment on Tuesday saying her daughter has justice and the order would improve people's trust in the judiciary.

"Absolutely. The execution of the four convicts will motivate the country's women, which will increase people's trust in the judiciary," she said.
On Monday, in the Nirbhaya gangrape and murder case, the court had reserved an order to issue death warrants against four death row convicts.

Six men killed the 23-year-old girl on a moving bus on December 16, 2012. During the trial, the main defendant, Ram Singh, allegedly committed suicide in Tihar Jail. At the time of the crime commission, another accused was a minor and was sent to a reform facility and released after three years.
